Abstract

176,946. Merchant, H. L. Jan. 11. 1921. Incandescent gas burners. -The tubular burner mouth of an inverted incandescent gas burner is splayed outwardly at its lower end and a hollow deflector 7 is screwed into or otherwise attached to the burner mouth so as to form an annular outlet 11. The deflector 7 is closed at its lower end 8 and is formed with holes 12 to allow the passage of the gas.
