Incandescent gas lamps.-The flue a of an inverted lamp is supported by and extends above a partition b carried by or forming part of the perforated globe-gallery c, which is detachably connected, preferably by clamping- screws e and bayonet - slots, to depending arms d<1> on a bridge-piece d. The depending part of the flue surrounds the major part of the mantle, and the length of the upwardly extending part is at least two-thirds that of the depending part. The bridge-piece may be provided with deflecting-plates d<2> for protecting the upper parts of the burner, and a globe or shade h may be mounted on the gallery c in addition to the lower globe j.
