Abstract
446,571. Vaporizers. BOSCH, W. VAN DEN, 161, Sint Antonielaan, Arnhem, Holland. Aug. 28, 1934, No. 24764. Convention date, Dec. 29, 1933. [Class 7 (iii)] Exhaust gases are admitted past an adjustable valve 14 into a heavy fuel-air mixture passing, through a pipe 4 containing a turbulence creating part 15, from a carburetter 2 to an exhaust-jacketed vaporizer 11. The mixture impinges upon the closed end of a cylindrical or conical perforated tube 5 through which the vaporized parts pass while the unvaporized fuel is directed towards the heated walls. The fuel supply pipe 1 is heated by radiation from the exhaust pipe 7. A three-way valve 6 enables a carburetter 8 for light fuel to be used at starting.
