Spray carburettors; vaporizers, extcrnal; heating charge.-The carburettor described ir. the parent Specification is modified bv emitting the heavy fuel vaporizer and conducting the heavy fuel direct from the inlet valve to an inlet 2 provided in the pipe 26, the valve which controlled heavy fuel vapour being utilized to control the passage, of air to a heater, which air is then admitted at 1 to the pipe 26 in one or more fine streams; the hot air vaporizes the fuel, and the rich mixture passes inta the main air spring 7<a>.
