435,849. Liquid-fuel stoves. McKAY, G. R., 627, West Derby Road, and FLETCHER, H., Lynton, Sandfield Park, West Derby, both in Liverpool. July 1, 1935, No. 18717. [Class 75 (i)] A stove for burning methylated spirit or similar fuel comprises a stand a mounted on legs b and having an upstanding flange e for receiving a sheet metal fuel reservoir f. The reservoir f communicates with a horizontal fuel pipe h which passes through brackets a<1> on the stand and is fitted with needle valve j<1> controlling the fuel delivery to a pipe l having an upturned end l<1> forming the burner. The flame emitted from the burner l<1> impinges directly on the pipe h to effect vaporization of the fuel and is spread by a deflector n. A dish m catches any unvaporized fuel emitted from the burner. Air is admitted to the reservoir f when the burner is in operation through an aperture o<1> which is uncovered by the rotation of a plate p having apertures p<1> left by the formation of finger grips p<2>. Stops o<2> limit the movement of the plate p.
