Abstract

432,163. Vents or windows for greenhouses &c. WALFORD, R. S., Mitre Works, Battle, Sussex. Dec. 24, 1934, No. 36621. [Class 20 (iii)] A vent or window unit particularly for greenhouses garages or like structures as described in Specification 429,118 comprises an outer frame having a lower bar 10 of T-section, side bars 8 of angle-section and a top bar 3 of #-section, this frame being secured by clamping - members 11 to the main transverse frames 1 of the building. The vent or window consists of a panel 23 mounted in a frame comprising a top bar 16 of angle-section and side and bottom bars of #-section the top bar hanging on screws 24 in the front bar 7 of the outer frame, thus allowing the window to swing. A casement stay for the window may be provided. In the closed position of the window, the flanges on the window seat on the flanges of the outer frame.
