Abstract

464,145. Window and like frames. FARNELL, S. Nov. 9, 1935, No. 31018. [Class 20 (iii)] A window or horticultural or like wooden frame comprises members 1, 1<a>, 1<b> bevelled at the ends and connected by right-angled metal corner strips 3 sunk and secured in aligned grooves in the ends of the members and by corrugated spiked strips 7. The horticultural frame shown comprises a central bar 8, mortised into the members 1<a>, 1<b>, and a galvanized bar 10 crosses the middle and is nailed in grooves in the members 1 and 8. The members 1 are mitred on their lower faces for the narrower member 1<b>.
