Joints, carpenters'.-A strip of hard wood B, having knife edged projections C and intermediate ribs E of any suitable shape is applied to one or more correspondingly-shaped edges of a door A and secured thereto by screws, dowels, or glue, or any combination of these methods. The strip may be more deeply recessed between the ribs than at the edges, when provided with two ribs.
