Abstract

490,251. Baths. HUTCHISON, A., and SHEARDOWN, J. W. April 9, 1937, No. 10116. [Class 26] In a bath in which the head end and roll are of any usual form, and in which the sides at the foot end are provided with internal pro - jections, the upper edges of which are at a short distance below the roll, the upper surfaces of the projections d, Fig. 1, are formed with an upstanding edge e to act as soap trays, and the edges have the usual drainage gap f therein. The inner sides of the projections are vertical or slightly inclined. Between the upper face and the vertical rear face g of the projections are small flat faces h inclined at an angle of 45‹ to the vertical. The face h may be bored to receive a handle i, Fig. 5, inclined towards the foot of the bath, or the handle may be secured to the face g. The foot end of the bath may be flat as shown, and merging into the projections by curves, or may be in the form of a single curve as shown at m.
