[Class 20 (iii)] A glazed sash for windows, screens, doors, and the like, comprises a metal angle-iron frame 4 and a glazed sash of heat-insulating material, such as wood or a mouldable substance, secured thereto by screws 12 and completely shrouding the metal on one face. The frame 4 is prefer ablv sunk in the rabbetec edges of the sash and, ir the case of the meeting edges of hinged sashes, one meta angle-member has a flange 29 turned inwardly and the other one 27 turned outwardly, as shown. When applied to a hinged roof light, the hinges are connected to an outwardly turned flange of the metal frame. The metal frame may be formed by mitred and welded joints from L-section material.
