Abstract

489,041. Window hinges. FEAKES & SONS, Ltd., E. P., and FEAKES, E. P. Jan. 20, 1937, No. 1739. [Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group X] The hinged side of a casement window sash and frame member are fashioned as shown in the Figure. The fixed leaf 14 of the hinge is cranked and the moving leaf 13 is imbedded in the sash. The moving leaf may be of a flat semicircular form so as to be accommodated in a groove in the sash formed by a circular milling cutter.
