Convention date, March 10, 1932. Divided out of 417,850. [Class 39 (i)] A Braun tube for television purposes comprises a cathode 1, control grid 3, Wehnelt cylinder 2, low- and high-voltage anodes 4, 6 which concentrate the ray and a fluorescent screen 10. The lead 15 to the anode 6 is screened from the ray by the anode lead 13. A further anode lead 14 may be provided to neutralize the effect upon the ray by the lead 13. The electrode 4 is provided with a tubular abutment 5.
