Abstract

455,479. Television receivers. FERNSEH AKT.-GES., Goerzallee, Zehlendorf, Berlin. April 4, 1936, No. 10010. Convention date, April 9, 1935. [Class 40 (iii)] To prevent burning of a fluorescent screen, the production or concentration of the electron beam in a cathode ray tube is dependent on the passage of anode current through at least one associated scanning oscillator 1. A focusing coil 2 is in series with the hightension supply to the oscillator or to both of the scanning oscillators. Alternatively, a relay, in series with the high-tension supply, controls the high-tension potential or the cathode-heating current to the cathode-ray tube, or renders the area of incidence of the beam on the screen equal to the area of the screen.
