Abstract

413,956. Paper cartons. HERRMANN, E. P., 279, 4th Avenue, East Orange, New Jersey, U.S.A. Dec. 14, 1933, No. 35192. Convention date, Dec. 30, 1932. [Class 66.] A double-walled conical paper vessel of the kind described in Specifications 390,700 and 413,873, but intended to be opened at the larger end has the marginal portion of the body wall doubled inwardly upon itself extending within the vessel to a point below the lowermost weakening line 4 in the inner layer of the wall, the upper portion of the doubled wall being turned inwardly after filling over the edge of a closure of flanged or disc form as shown in Figs. 1 and 4. After the opening of the vessel by the strip between the weakening lines being torn out, the part 7 remaining attached to the end is adapted to seat within the open end of the vessel, affording a re-closure means.
