[Class 66.] To enable the liquid contents to be imbibed through a straw, the inner wall of the double-walled body part or double end closure of a paper container is formed with an opening 4 and the covering part of the outer wall is wholly or partially surrounded by weakening lines 5 so that it can be easily raised or torn away to uncover the opening. A tearing tab 6 may be provided. During the manufacture of the container little or none of the adhesive is applied to the part to be removed, the waxing or waterproofing substance being relied upon to give it sufficient adhesion to the inner layer.
