458,965. Paper &c. cartons; packages. JAGENBERG, G. M., 107, Himmelgeisterstrasse, D³sseldorf, Germany. Jan. 24, 1936, No. 2308. [Classes 66 and 94 (i)] A container made of paper, cardboard, metal foil, or the like, and which can be opened by tearing, has a folding closure comprising side portions E, G, faces 1, 2, and a flap 3 provided with tear lines. In the folded down closure, the flap 3 lies against the inner side of the face 1, and is secured thereto, at its outer rims only, by rivets n, glue or the like. In the modified construction shown in Figs. 7 and 8, holes 01, 02 are provided to facilitate the gripping of the flap 3 and the tearing open along the lines D4, N1, M1, A<1>4.
