Abstract
399,264. Casement and fanlight windows. COOPER, SNOWDEN, & SONS, Ltd. and BETT, G., Albion Street, Grimsby. May 26,1932, No. 14921. [Class 20 (iii).] The outer faces and inner edge of the sash stiles and rails of hinged windows are adapted to lie flush with the outer surface of the frame or mullion which members are rabbeted to receive them. The transome 17 is covered by the two meeting rails 15, 23, and a metal weather-excluding strip 22 may be provided to engage both these rails. The stiles and rails and head are grooved to carry away condensed water. The sill and lower rail are checked and downwardly inclined to the outside.
