486,651. Draught and weather excluders for doors and windows. KIEFER, J. Nov. 20, 1937, No. 31998. [Class 20 (iii)] Weather and wind exclud ing means for the sills of in. wardly-opening doors and casement or like window, comprise a trough of iron or other metal having its twc sides contacting with depend. ing parts 6, 9, of rabbets in the bottom rail of the door &c. when closed, apertures 5 being provided in the outer wall of the trough to drain away water, and drip grooves being pro. vided in one or both upper surfaces of the rabbets 6, 9. The rail extends outwardly beyond the outer surface of the channel 8.
