393,922. Fuel-injection pumps. FIAT SOC. ANON., 250, Via Nizza, Turin, Italy. Sept. 8, 1931, No. 25215. Convention date, Sept. 30, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 102 (i).] In a fuel-injection pump the injection is terminated by a piston-valve 21, which puts the pump chamber 4 in communication with the suction chamber 30 by means of passages 29, 29<1> and a reduced portion 22 of the valve. The suction port is controlled by the plunger, the fuel entering the pump chamber by passages 28<1>, 28 and the space 22. The valve 21 is operated from the plunger-operating rod 9, by means of a lever 13 having an eccentric pivot 12. The operating mechanism is contained in a chamber 2 in the casing.
