[Class 110 (ii).] A piston g which is secured by bolts to a. disc f freely supported on an eccentric portion d of a shaft r, gyrates about a fixed cylinder e and forms a crescent-shaped working chamber h with inlet and outlet ports s, t. A relatively sliding-rocking abutment i is secured to the cylinder e and bears on two segments k. The parts e, g, b, f are all accurately finished before assembly to secure close fits of working parts. Centring rings q, p are provided between the cylinders and the piston-supporting discs b, f, and additional rings may be inserted in grooves m, n. A link l, pivoted to the casing, is pivoted at the other end to an extension of the piston g, but this link may be dispensed with.
