Fixed-abutment type; balancing moving parts. -To balance or reduce radial and lateral fluidthrusts on a sliding-rocking vane d which operates in inner and outer working-chambers j, l connected in series, the vane d is formed in one piece with its roller r, which is mounted in slides s and is located nearer one end of the vane than the other according to the pressure-differences in the chambers j, l. The shoes s slide in a stator member c arranged between the inner and outer rotary pistons a, b. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which the vane d is provided with an extension in the form of a sleeve embracing the piston a. It is further stated that the engine may be used as a rotary pump or compressor. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
