[Class 80 (iii)] [Also in Groups XXVII and XXVI] In a four-cylinder double-acting internalcombustion engine, the cylinders are mounted parallel to the driving shaft 35 and the pistons are rigidly connected by piston rods 27. A wobble disc 37 on the shaft 35 engages a groove in a split collar 38 which has pins 40 passing through holes in cross pins 41 engaging the rods 27. Lubricant supplied under pressure to a chamber 44 flows through passages 49 ... 55.
