185,230. Rutherford, R., and Orton, H. C. June 2, 1921. Valve-gear.-Cam surfaces 29 actuate valves 27 in the pistons 25 through which charges are conveyed to pump spaces 4. After compression, the charges are transferred to combustion chambers in the cylinders 3 through hollow pistonrods 7. The exhaust valves 36 are actuated by cams on a rotating disc 35.
