497,300. Valves; valve gear. PORKMAN, R. Sept. 14, 1937, No. 24990. [Class 7 (vi)] In an opposed-piston engine in which the pistons actuate the crank shaft 9 through levers 6, 61 and rods 8, 8<1>, inlet at 19 and exhaust at 20 are controlled respectively by sleeve valves 2 and 21 actuated by bell cranks 10, 10<1> and cams 13, 131.
