369,333. Instantaneous steam boilers. HAMM, K., 118-30, 155th Street, Jamaica, and BEYRODT, K., 530, Riverside Drive, both in New York, U.S.A. Feb. 5, 1931, No. 3703. Convention date, Feb. 21, 1930. [Class 123 (ii).] A boiler 11 surrounded by a turbine stator 25 consists of helical generating coils 36 arranged around a combustion chamber 24, and superheating coils 38. Steam is bled from the turbine to operate an injector which feeds water from the condenser into the boiler tubes 36. Inner tubes 36b are supported on spiders loosely fitting in the generating tubes 36, and are perforated to allow water to impinge upon the hot surface of the outer tubes.
