[Class 100 (ii).] Rotary intaglio machines.-In a rotary intaglio machine of the kind in which the intaglio cylinder c coacts with a counterpressure roller hand an intermediate impression roller g, the rollers c, h are arranged so that their axes are in the same vertical plane and the roller g is mounted so as to be offset from this plane in levers k, l carried by slides e, f which support the rollers h. The levers k, l are mounted on pivots m as shown when the roller c rotates clockwise, and on pivots o when the roller c is reversed. Extensions p on the slides e, fact on the pins r on the levers k, l so as to raise the roller g when the roller h is raised.
