Cylinder machines.-A stop-cylinder printing- machine is fitted with two sets of grippers d, f, the set f serving to hold the sheet to the impression surface a while the sheet is being printed by the forme c. The grippers d receive the sheet from a feed-board while the cylinder is stationary, and as the forme c moves to the right for the printing-operation, the grippers d carry the sheet to a transfer'cylinder b which carries the sheet round for one revolution, and transfers the unprinted sheet to the grippers f while the printed sheet is delivered printing face upwards from the top of the cylinder by means of strippers h and delivery rollers i, k. The inking-apparatus is arranged under the feed-board.
