279,056. Maschinenfabrik Augsburg- Nirnberg Akt.-Ges. Oct. 18, 1926, [Convention date]. Rotary intaglio machines; drying-apparatus.- In an intaglio machine for printing sheets on both sides, the sheet passes from the first impression cylinder b after being printed by cylinder c to grippers d on the second impression cylinder e. From these grippers the sheet is taken printed side outwards by a drying-cylinder f, and is retransferred to grippers h on cylinder e and after being printed by the second printing- cylinder i passes to a drying cylinder k and delivery cylinder l. If perfecting in two colours is desired, the cylinder l may deliver to the impression cylinder of a second printing set similar to that shown, arranged vertically below the corresponding cylinders of the first set.
