Rotary machines; tripping-arrangements. - A surface-printing rotary machine comprises a printing-cylinder 1 and an impression cylinder 2 of equal size geared together by gear-wheels adapted to remain in mesh when the cylinder 2 is tripped out of printing position, by rotating its eccentric bearings. Sheets are fed to the grippers 9 of the cylinder 2 over a pivoted feedtable 5 fitted with front stops 4, 5. To permit of access to the cylinders 1, 2 for the insertion of a new printing- surface, the table 5 and stops 4 are swung into the position shown by dotted lines.
