[Class 100 (ii)] Inking-apparatus ; damping-apparatus for lithographic machines.-An inking. apparatus comprises a single forme-inking roller c having a continuous surface and of a circumference equal to or greater than the length of the design surface a of the printing cylinder b. The roller c is preferably positively driven and provided with means, e.g. eccentric bearings d for adjusting its pressure on the cylinder b. A damping- apparatus having a single damping - roller having a circumference not less than the length of the design surface may also be used with the inking-apparatus.
