1,065,159. Printing machines. DRUCKMASCHINENWERK PLANETA, VEB. Nov. 11, 1964, No. 45929/64. Heading B6C. In a multi-colour sheet fed rotary offset machine comprising side-by-side units 1 each consisting of plate, offset, impression and transfer cylinders 2, 5, 6, 7 the plate and offset cylinders are of equal diameter as are the impression and transfer cylinders but the diameter of the latter pair is twice the diameter of the former pair. The transfer cylinder of the last unit of any particular machine is replaced by a drum adapted for connection to a sheet delivery apparatus e.g. an endless band conveyer. Each unit 1 also embodies inking and moistening mechanisms 3, 4.
