Abstract
365,418. Photographic cameras. KODAK, Ltd., Kodak House, Kingsway, London.-(Assignees of Fuerst, C. C. ; 333, State Street, Rochester, New York, U.S.A.) April 1, 1931, No. 9926. Convention date, April 14, 1930. [Class 98 (i).] In a method of joining together parts of photographic cameras, one part is provided with two or more slots, the portion between which may be raised and a portion of the second part, comprising a strip-like member in which notches or openings are formed, is passed through the slots, the metal of the first part being depressed into the notches to unite the parts. In the form shown as applied to the supports for the spools in a box camera strips G, G<1>, Fig. 5, are threaded through slots L, L<1>, in the side walls of the body portion D and the metal of the walls depressed into notches in the strips as shown at D<4>. The supports for the spools are drilled to receive centering pins J, Fig. 4, and one of them bears a tongue K<2> on the centring pin K to engage the slot of the film spool. The pin K is mounted on a knurled head K<3> which may be used to rotate the spool when the film is being threaded. A slot K<4> in the head K<3> serves to engage the usual winding key of the camera.
