Abstract

1,060,937. Film magazines. PRONTORWERK ALFRED GAUTHIER G. m. b. H. July 21, 1965 [Sept. 26, 1964], No.30967/65. Heading G2A. A film magazine is formed in two parts 1, 2 which are irremovably fastened together after film has been inserted in the magazine, which is provided with a lens 13 and shutter 14. The coiled unexposed film is placed in a cavity 6 in the base 1, one end of the roll being threaded past a film gate 8 on to a take up spindle 9. The cap 2 is then hooked on to the base by means of projections 18, 19, Fig. 2 (not shown) engaging recesses 20, 21. The cap is provided with a film winding knob 10 which engages the spindle 9. A cocking and release lever 15 is provided in the light tight join between the parts 1, 2, which join may be covered by an adhesive strip bearing information about the film. A viewfinder, picture frame and rear window 17 are provided. The magazine must be broken in order to remove the film.
