Abstract

410,071. Photographic roll-film cameras. KILFITT, H., 51, Scheibenstrasse, D³sseldorf, Germany. Sept. 28, 1933, No. 7398/34. Divided on 411,347. [Class 98 (i).] A casing for roll films suitable for cameras of very small dimensions has at its passage slot for the film a spring covering rail 2 having at the ends bent-over nosepieces 3 which, on the insertion of the casing into the camera, bear on the edge of the film support so that when the camera cover is put on and the casing pressed on to its seat the spring rail 2 is held by the nosepieces and uncovers the slot for the passage of the film. To secure a lighttight closure on the spool side of the casing, only the centre pin 5 with driver slot 4 is carried outwards through the removable side wall of the casing, which is provided with a tube 6 engaging an annular groove 7.
