Abstract
232,955. GuÚrin, E. April 23, 1924, [Convention date]. Hand cameras for roll films, with finding arrangements.-The casing 1 Fig. 1, has integral therewith two cylindrical housings 2 with gaps 3, for the passage of the film. Within the housings slide two removable tubes 4 with end discs 12 and with corresponding gaps 5 which can be positioned by means 6, Fig. 4, on the casing wall. The film housings are closed at one end by one face 1<1> of the camera casing. The end disc for the tube holding the take up spool 8 is fitted with a ratchet winder 13. Spindles 9 are fitted and have a recess 10 which is engaged by a pivoted catch on the wall 1<1>. To keep the film flat it is pressed against the removable back plate 15 by an interior frame 16, Figs. 1 and 2. This frame extends through the front wall 20 of the casing into the lens and shutter casing 22, is pressed backwards by flat springs 19 and is fitted with marginal flanges 16 and with rollers 17 over which the film passes. Kinematograph film may be used, and the marginal perforations used to operate a counter 24 fitted in recess 23 of the casing 1. A finder 25 is fitted within the corresponding recess 26.
