455,478. Photographic cameras combined with exposure meters. ZEISS IKON AKT.-GES., 72, Schandauerstrasse, Dresden, Germany. April 3, 1936, No. 9916. Convention date, April 12, 1935. [Class 98 (i)] In a roll-film camera provided with a photo - electric exposure meter, the moving-coil measuring instrument 5 of the meter is housed between the objective 4 and a film spool 2, and is viewed through a window in the top of the camera. The photo-electric cell, fitted with a prismatic window, is mounted on the front wall of the camera on the other side of the objective 4. A short-base range finder 9 coupled with the objective is also provided. The camera may be of the kind in which the film-feed and shutter mechanisms are coupled so that a single exposure or a rapid succession . of exposures may be made.
