440,081. Photographic roll-film adaptors. MESTRUM, G. F. J., 28, Roermondschestraat, Venlo, Holland. April 15, 1935, No. 11614. [Class 98 (i)] A roll-film adapter for photographic plate cameras is formed so that the film lies in the same focal plane as that normally occupied by the plates and is characterized in that the adapter is constructed so that the spool axes lie on either side of and parallel to the longer sides of the exposure aperture whereby the film is passed across the exposure aperture in a direction perpendicular to its longer sides. As shown the adapter a with spool compartments b, b<1> is attached to the camera e by engagement of the rebate i in the rebate k. The adapter has a shutter slide f and film-winding knob h. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 14466/00, [Class 98].
