Abstract
454,134. Photographic cameras. KODAK, Ltd., Kingsway, London.--(Assignees of Crumrine, C. W.; 333, State Street, Rochester, New York, U.S.A.) March 5, 1936, No. 6709. Convention date, April 30, 1935. [Class 98 (i)] The film-supporting frame in the focal plane of a roll film camera is adjustable so that it can be accurately positioned and then securely held in that position. The camera body 1, made of a mouldable composition has a removable back 2 and a lens board 5 supported by lazy tongs 6, 7. A separate rectangular exposure frame 12, with flanges 13 is mounted on the camera frame 11 and attached at one corner by a screw 23 and at the three other corners by securing screws 24, and locating screws 25. The frame 12 has a pair of lateral guide surfaces 15 that are slightly raised above the ends 16 to prevent scratching of the film. In adjusting the frame 12 to compensate for inaccuracies in the camera, the screws 24 are loosened and the screws 25 with flanges 34 are rotated to move the frame 12 to or away from the camera body 1. When the frame is in the required position, the securing screws 25 are tightened.
