Abstract

420,635. Photographic enlarging - apparatus. WEISSE, E., 1, Ludwig-Hupfeldstrasse, Leipsic, Germany. Feb. 2, 1934, Nos. 3447 and 3448. Convention dates, Feb. 2, 1933 and June 12, 1933. [Class 98 (i)] In photographic enlarging-apparatus, one or more marks in the same plane as the aperture for receiving the negative to be copied are provided on the lateral edge of the framing of the aperture. As shown, the film 1 with the image 2 to be enlarged is placed between two glass plates 3, 4 and is illuminated by the light source 5. An objective 6 projects on to the plane 7 on enlarged image 8 of the negative 2. A mask 9 is provided so that only the image 2 remains uncovered. On the glass plate 4 is produced photographically marks 11, 11<1> consisting of two striped screens which are enlarged at 12 on the plane 7. The distance between the arrow heads is 1cm., so that the measured distance between the projected arrow heads on the plane 7 gives directly the degree of enlargement. The observation marks may be arranged on a glass plate in the negative aperture.
