Abstract
506,288. Photographic printing processes. HORNICKE, P. Dec. 20, 1937, No. 35194; Convention date, Jan. 7. [Class 98 (ii)] The image on exposed development printing paper is, rendered temporarily visible before development to ascertain the correctness of the exposure, by projecting a beam of coloured light onto the front or rear side thereof. For diazo papers a blue filter is employed having, a weak reddish colouring. As shown the negative and printing paper from a roll 12, are fed at I, to to an endless belt engaging a glass surface 2 enclosing the arc lamp 5. The prints are delivered at II, and are inspected by light from the lamp 5 which has passed through the colour filter 7 and been reflected by the mirror 8. A separate illuminating lamp may be used.
