Abstract
422,531. Photographic roll-film spools. 1. G. FARBENINDUSTRIE AKT.-GES., Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. May 30, 1934, No. 16149. Convention date, May 30, 1933. [Class 98 (i)] Spools are adapted for use with cameras constructed for the same size of pictures but different in respect of the size of the winding key, by the provision of a plate movably mounted on the spool flange and provided with one or more key-slots of different sizes which can be substituted for one another as required by altering the position of the plate. In the construction described, the usual flange 2, Fig. 3, of the spool 1 is turned over at 2<a> and coacts with a rotatable disc 8, with an overturned edge 8<a> to form a space 9. In this space is pivoted a plate 3, Fig. 1, which carries one or more substitute key slots 4 and is connected by the projection and slot 6, 7 to the disc 8. The end of the spool is formed with the usual turning slot 10.
