Abstract
564,914. Photographic roll - film spools. KODAK, Ltd. April 14, 1943; No. 5987. Convention date, May 23, 1942. [Class 98 (i)] [Also in Group IX] A spool of photographic film comprises a core 3 carrying flanges 4 and provided with resilient means which tends to draw the flanges into contact with the edges of the film regard. less of any expansion or contraction of the latter. Ir the form shown, the core is slotted so that it is longitudinally resilient, and the flanges are formed with headings 12 which confine the roll of film radially, but owing to the resiliency of the core move apart to allow the film to pass between them when it is being wound. Specifications 558,515 and 564,913 are referred to.
