472,338. Photographic cameras fitted with exposure meters. ZEISS IKON AKT.- GES. May 7, 1936, No. 12919. Convention date, June 15, 1935. [Class 98 (i)] The indicator of the measuring instrument of a photo - electric exposure meter housed within a camera is viewable through a window in the top of the camera, and also, by means of a reflector, when looking in the direction of the object to be photographed. The reflector may be disposed adjacent to the view-finder or telemeter. As shown, the measuring instrument 2 is mounted in the camera as described in Specification 467,762, and its indicator 3 is viewable through a window 4 in the top of the camera either directly from above or by means of an inclined mirror 5 which may be swung out of the way to permit direct viewing. The photo-electric cell 6 is pivoted to the top of the camera and provided with a protective cover 7 as described in Specification 466,684, and when it is turned down into inoperative position, it depresses the mirror into closed position over the window 4.
