[Class 98 (i)] The readings of the measuring instrument of a photo-electric exposure meter incorporated in the upper part of the housing of a photographic camera are observed through openings in both the rear and upper walls of the camera. A view opening 6 is disposed above the transparent scale 7 of the measuring instrument 1 and its indicator 3. An opening 4 is also formed in the rear wall of the camera and enables the readings illuminated by the window 6 to be observed by the aid of a mirror. An eccentric screw 8 adjusts the scale 9 from the outside. In modifications, the path of the rays from the indicator to the opening 4 may pass above or below the measuring instrument. In Fig. 7, two reading-off scales at right-angles are provided near the window 6 and the pointer 3 is also bent at right-angles.
