479,379. Film magazines. LEITZ GES., E. Oct. 30, 1936, No. 29591. Convention date, Dec. 2, 1935. [Classes 97 (i) and 98 (i)] A film carrier, shown in elevation in Fig. 2, and in horizontal section in Fig. 1, contains two identical film magazines 5 and 6 for half-width film perforated in one margin, one inverted relative to the other, inserted through the open front of the casing 1, and enclosed by the cover 17. Apertures 11 and 12 in the magazines, through which driving mechanism may operate the take up spools, registe: with apertures 18 and 19 in the casing 1 Claw-feed mecha nism may operate through apertures and 8 in the maga zines, registering with apertures 3 and 4 in the sides of the casing. The magazines 5 and 6 are encircled by a spring band 14 and held in place by the bends 13 engaging projections on them. The band can be moved forward by the projecting lugs 15 and 16 for the removal of the magazines through the front of the casing. The casing has projections 2 for attachment to the camera. By reversing the casing either film may be exposed at will.
