[Class 40 (v).] In order to maintain the desired potential relations between the screen grid and anode of a screen-grid valve an impedance Z2 is connected between the anode side of the anode impedance Z1 and the screen grid. A condenser C, which may be shunted by a resistance R, may be connected between screen grid and cathode. The invention enables different types of screen-grid valves to be interchanged while keeping fixed proportionality between anode and screen grid voltages.
