Abstract
379,456. Valve amplifying circuits. CHAMBERS, W. A., Lullingstone, Reigate Road, Ewell, Surrey. July 7, 1931, No. 19516. [Class 40 (v).] A direct coupled amplifier system of the kind described in Specification 330,956, [Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.], is arranged in push-pull to eliminate the effects of common impedance coupling and parasitic noise and to provide an amplifier which will continue to function in the event of a defect occurring in one side of the system. The Figure shows an arrangement in which separate anode and cathode resistances 7, 13 are used for each valve in addition decoupling resistances 25 and condenser may be provided as shown. A single condenser between the cathodes of a pair of valves may be used, Fig. 4 (not shown). A single resistance common to the cathode circuits of a pair of valves may be used, Fig. 2 (not shown).
