Abstract
465,053. Valve amplifying circuits. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., MOIR, J., and HIBBERD, R. G. Oct. 29, 1935, No. 29861. [Class 40 (v)] In a push-pull resistance capacity coupled amplifier dealing with a wide band of frequencies without frequency discrimination loss of high frequencies is avoided by the provision of condensers C1 C2 to neutralize inherent self-capacity. The condensers C1 C2 have each a capacity equal to the anode grid capacity of the valves and are provided in the final stage of the amplifier. In this way higher anode resistances with corresponding increase in gain may be used without loss of high frequencies. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifcation 354,192.
