361,638. Spray carburetters. DODSON, E., 66, Lewin Road, Streatham, London. Dec. 4, 1930, No. 36586. [Class 7 (iii).] In a carburetter having a transversely projecting fuel tube 3 the latter is provided with a streamline fairing 4, Fig. 1, to obviate the formation of eddies in the air or mixture stream passing through the choke tube. Alternatively a fin 4, Fig. 3, may divide the choke tube in the region of the fuel tube, a portion of this fin in the rear of the fuel tube being cut away as shown ; the fin may. also be extended to the entrance of the air intake.
