Abstract

211,408. Cozette, R. May 15, 1923,. [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Spray carburettors.-Rich mixture, formed by aerated-fuel, issuing from orifices 6, in a Venturi tube 5 which is open to the atmosphere at the top, is carried by the main air supply along a horizontal pipe H and then up a vertical pipe V to the engine. The tube 5 is co-axial with a float-chamber and two fuel-wells as described in Specification 190,701 and it may project into the pipe H and be chamfered as shown at 7. A bypass 30 enables the engine to suck up any fuel which may collect at slow running in a well formed by a chamfer 29 on a plug 28.
